Cray fishing mindarie

Hey guys,
anyone having any luck with the crays at the moment? I been going out of mindarie (first year potting so bit of a rookie) and haven't had any luck since dropping them in 2 weeks ago. I know the super moon would not have helped and talking to ppl at the ramp it seems I'm not the only one coming in empty handed. I here a lot of different opinions on where to drop this time of year. It seems ppl who have got a few are getting them in close. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

there are only a few about
there are only a few about at the moment, but the whites will start shortly. In the next week or so. Make sure your pots are on the sand in front of ledges, not on hard reef. You want to be 1-4m into the sand.
If your getting weed on your pot your to close.

Thanks for your help
Do you want to be on the ocean side in the sand back off ledges? Or does it not really matter? Also what depths are best when they start walking? Shallow and then get deeper? Thanks again

Yep as Bodie said: they are
Yep as Bodie said: they are just not out and about just yet
Be on the west side of reef in the sand and you will have no probs over the next couple of weeks. when the whites move ....it's not rocket science.
Generally be fairly shallow and if you like slowly follow them out over the following couple of weeks. IE: when your catch drops off just move to the sand ...next reef out.
