Walking around the como part of the river for the past 5 years, I have noticed that when the mullet start to school, the crabs appear. There was a massive school of big fat mullet at como jetty last week. Take from that what you will.
Bagged-out in 3hrs yesterday, in Freshwater Bay.. Lots of small ones around Black wall but found the bigger ones strait out from the spit in around the 10 to 15 meters. Seen a few in the shallows but there's 1000s of blowfish already this year..
Get your crab nets inn. Good chance of getting a nice feed, just try different baits till you work it out..
