Crab Hook - Port Hedland
Submitted by Piggy on Mon, 2021-06-28 17:07
Sussing out whether anyone knows where sells crab hooks in Port Hedland or where I can get some 5mm round bar or something similar to make one? Heading up there next week for work and was going to go out for a sneaky crab while I was up there.
If anyone could assist it would be greatly appreciated!!

I'll be going as I'm classed
I'll be going as I'm classed as an essential worker apparently. I'm dragging a sea container up behind me for a job Ive got up there. I'll see what I can find and chuck it in it. There is always home hardware up the in south. Might pay to give them a ring

plant hanger maybe
Once used 900m pergola hanging hooks, which were about 5mm galvanised, but haven't seen them in that size now. Pretty easy to bend up a bit of the 6.3mm rod from Bunnings

Watch out for the incredibly
Watch out for the incredibly deep and rank smelling mud in the mangroves. The ground seems firm until you sink up to your nuts in stinking mud you can't clean off without a high pressure hose.
