coral bay landbased - can you get squid off the beach

Heading up to Coral Bay saturday -

bit of an impromptu trip and only going for a week with wife and kids  so a little un-prepared and I couldnt be @rsed towing my boat up (trust me 1200km at 80-90kmh with 2 small kids not on the agenda!)

So was thinking of trying to get some small fry or squid off the beach -have not been to C-Bay for a few years and have never beach fished there before and wanted to know if anyone knew the best spot -if any -to try and target squid?

cheer

Five fingers is a good spot.

Five fingers is a good spot. Or even around the breakwater at the boat ramp.

Just be aware that fishing is not allowed at the launch ramp, but in the evening there is very little boat trafic so no one is going to worry too much.

I was under the impression it was only on the finger jetties that was out of bounds, if so i was a naughty boy fishing from the rocks then....
