a complete waste of time?

would it be worthwhile towing the boat up to the coral bay / exmouth area in the first couple of weeks of november , or are you just going to get blown away?
have to take the holiday then , but would rather not waste the towing fuel if it's gonna blow big time!

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Historical records would indicate
November is not one of the better months wind wise. Gamex used to be held early November and I think one of the reasons for moving that to March was to lessen the chance of it being windy. Hey you may get lucky. I got unlucky this April, one of the 'normally' better months.

Chance
Take a chance the difference in cost is less than a day out on a charter boat and you can fish inside if it's windy and you will have fun great place to go

Exmouth
At Exmouth you can always get out inside the gulf when it glasses off in the afternoons if its too bad down the west side.
Coral bay suffers from the SE turning SW 20-25 knot winds that have already started and run through until the end of February so it will be hit or miss there.
