Went out for squid session today, and I have never seen Cockburn Sound water so brown.
Could not see the bottom, even at a meter deep.
It's worse up North end of Garden Island, and no squid for me.

Tons of food
The fresh should be flushing a lot of food into the ocean? Should be a good thing if you dont need visibility (or salty water)

It’s also from yangebup lake
I saw a government news letter the other day that they were going to pump water from lake yangebup from woodmans point outlet because it was to full

Out the front of the power
Out the front of the power station, quite a sand bank has formed in close and i dare say the visibility is only 700mm. the water is filthy though there was a bloke fishing out my window yesterday and seemed to be doing ok.
