choosing right reel

hi there every 1
Recently bought 8ft rod, currently looking the right reel to go with it, can anyone plz rcommend me the right reel........line rating is 10lb-25lb.....any tips or advise is appriciated

Hey mate
A budget, style of fishing and overhead or spin will help.
i would go a Stradic FJ 4000 though .
always try reel on your rod first for balance and if happy, go for it.
Wise man says - first take the plank out of your own eye before trying to take the speck out of somebody else's.

i would think a 4000 too big for what you want. step down to the 3000. myself i would go a daiwa certate 3012 or even 2500. a lot smoother, more robust but will be a bit heavier on the hip pocket

What sort of lure weight is
What sort of lure weight is your rod rated for ? That will give an indication the line to spool and then the reel to match.
