China wall

hi there,
has anyone on here heard of a spot out from two rocks called the China wall ? Have heard a few mature fishos (old boys haha) talking of this spot as being legendary fishing grounds.
Is it mythical or real and is it a commonly known spot these days ?

search
If you search for 'offshore spots-lancelin' on FW there is an article back in 2009 that may be of assistance to you.

Used to crayfish there...
...between 30 and 40 fathoms deep, in commercial fishing terms, so yeah, roughly 80-90m. I remember the crays there were a different sort of colour, sort of white with a purple/pinkish to tinge.

Up off Lancelin
The China Wall is about 1 -2 miles out the back of direction bank, but it varies up and down the coast. Once you get out side the bank the depth goes to about 50m. It then comes up to about 45m before dropping off pretty quickly on the other side. The 45m part is what is known as the China Wall. Happens in a few spots, but pretty obvious off Lancelin.
