Charging issues F115A yamaha

Recently i had a problem when I realised the motor wasn't charging. I have since found that it is the connecting pin plug between the stator and the rectifier.
I was wondering if anyone has sourced a rectifier elsewhere as genuine parts are $400. The male copper connections appear to be soft after 900 Plus hours of work.
The Yamaha dealer I have spoke with hasn't seen a stator break down, but has seen rectifiers and the pin plugs become non functional.
Anyone come across this scenario ?

I did a search on THT
And it didn't come up as a general issue. My 2007 F115a has just over 1700hrs on it, no issues have raised their head. 900 is nothing on these motors if they have been run and serviced normally.

I bought one for my CV 30 from a guy on fleabay. All made up well for $35 plus postage. I don't know if they are all the same, but it may be worth asking him.

I bought some $ 50.00 regs for my 115 yammy
Had nothing but problems with them both ,voltage spikes were shuting down the ecu intermitantly ended up having to buy genuine

There is a Merc 115 4S being wrecked in the buy and sell, the earlier ones of these were a rebranded Yam F115 but Im not certain if this is the one.
Well worth checking up on it

The pins on the rectifier seem very soft like they are annealed. I took it for a spin yesterday and the volts on my gauge came up to 13.0, which doesn't sound normal at 4100 RPM.
Nice to know Ranmar that I could possibly have another 1000 hours of useful life. My motor is one of the earliest models, at least 13 years old. I have had an ECU die which was costly.

Did you check out the Merc F115 on here?
Earlier ones were a rebranded Yam and it may be identical to your rectifier
