change of location

been in the NT for 30 odd yrs now and the fishings has been great but my favorite spot has got the go ahead for the inpex gas plant so me and the missus are thinking of making a move.
I am thinking of geraldton or kalbari to live and work, I work in the comercial construction game and the missus in the fitness industry we are not into fifo, we want to be able to knock off and have a fish landbased and what are employment chances in these places like and are there other places I should consider we are both mad popper fishos

Not a lot of work in Kalbarri
Not a lot of work in Kalbarri more of a holiday town real nice place lots of rock and beach fishing, if ya got boat good ocean if ya can get out through the mouth when to rough outside the Murchison will keep you amused. One of me mates lives up there but he has to travel for the bulk of his jobs.
Geraldton has a lot more industry more chance of work around town or there's a mine I think still under construction called Carrrara.

yes Ive seen the FWA shows
yes Ive seen the FWA shows of them mob fishing the river mouth for tailor. read a lot of stories on the fishing at kalbari seems good
I will be driving down to Perth in middle of year and doing a fishing road trip with no time limit I think i might not get pass exmouth
