Catching Stocked Rainbow Trout In Ponds
Submitted by ElliottAugust on Wed, 2020-04-22 16:55
Could someone please comment to tell me how to use any type of artificial bait to catch rainbow trout in stocked ponds? I've been using worms this whole time, and even that doesn't work for me now. I've become really frustrated that I haven't caught a single fish in so long and even the YouTube videos aren't helping, so I'd really like to know what I am doi ng wrong. solitaire.onl/

catching stocked raibow trout in ponds
Hi Elliot, not to sure were your trout came from, down @ the hatchery in Pemberton, they feed the fingerlings on corn, soke it in water for a few hours, then try it. other wise you will have to tye your own fly`s. some fly`s work okay just keep changing to diffent coloured fly`s, good luck cheers Don.

Both above( corn)
Also peeled prawns and funny enough blue bait . Fished for trout from a very young age . Was brilliant . Now there all concrete trout apart from very few places on private property . Very surprised worms are not doing it for you. Nothing beats 4/5 worms wriggling on a hook . Concrete trout also smash plastics big time.
