Carnavon stopover

Doing an Exxy trip soon. No rush this time. After a decent stop over in Carnarvon for a night that has secure parking for a 5 m boat.
Been about 15 years since I did that. Back then the Fascine(spell?) Lodge was the go.
Any suggestions?

fascine lodge is still operating and is still secure. They close the gate at night time so it's safe for your boat
the gateway hotel is also good mate
I've had plenty of mates stay there, they don't have a gate but there isn't any traffic thru there at night

Carnarvon caravan park
Carnarvon caravan park ....have 6 bed units (mezzanine floor etc there. close the gates at night and can back the boat up to the unit and plug freezer in.
not flash but cheap and adequate for jut passing through.
Say gday to Carnarvonite (FW member)as well.

Carnarvon Caravan park
As stated , Carnarvon caravan park is secure, has to be because I live there, sliding gate closes around 7 and they give you a gizmo to get in or out. The units allow you to back right up to.

Yeah Carnarvon caravan park is ok. Stayed there last year on our way through to fishing gold
Glad for the reminder by the way, just booked for the 2nd July. If anyone's going to Gnarloo at that time give us a shout.
