If you are on FaceBook look up eddie trileksono. He is located in bali and makes hand made jigs. Not sure if he does charters but he may be able to provide advice. He posts some pretty good fishing photos.
I fished on a small boat for tuna not very good we got 3 in a day biggest being about 500mm caught on extremly heavy line and a old broomstick rod didnt realy know u had anything untill boatside probably better to just sit on the beach drinking bintang
Pelagics like Tuna, mahi mahi, wahoo etc.. are more common in the north around Amed and Tulamben as they have a series of fads along the coast there. Local boat charters in that area are much cheaper than in the south, around $30 for a half day.
Charters run from Sanur out to Nusa Penida for GT popping and deep water jigging but these can be expensive and hit and miss.
I'm in Bali at present and might be able to arrange a trip out for you with a local mate. When will you be here?

Careful with Eddie. I used
Careful with Eddie. I used him as a driver and have fished with him over several years. Helped him market his jigs into wa.
He recently had a business deal go bad and instead of manning up and sorting the issue he blocked everyone that he owed money to.
Buyer beware.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
