can anyone help me with a good spot to camp with 3 little kids at a caravan park (2-3hours) from perth for the AUSTRALIA DAY long wekend.also must be good fishing of course

if you want a quiet place lancelin is nice and some good fishing spots up there but quiet mean its pretty much a desert up there Australia day theres a caravan park there i think its about $40 a night (i think) and there a motel there to for $100 nite and u can take the kids sand boarding during the day

gday hangers hamelin bay cvan park good spot very close to th beach for the mrs and youngens beach boat and rock fishin all reasonable close by but do ur homework on the weather and swell perticularly probley 3-4 hrs from perth its near augusta

hamelin bay can be a great spot, is only about 3 hours but possibly less using the new freway. plenty of fish around down there and loads of beach to just stroll along. the kids would love to see the big stingrays come right up to the shore as there are quite a few resident ones of all sizes that you can even hand feed

thanks everyone we have ended up booking into myalup beach caravan park,we will pitch the tent for a few days ,should be nice by the looks ,we have never been there or around that area so any tips would be great.tried to get into lancelin ,ledge,and jurien bay but all booked out which was a bummer but atleast it shows families are getting out there to see this beautiful coast line!!!
