Hi guys ,going down to busselton /dunsborough at the end of April ,for a couple of weeks and will be staying at siesta park in geographe bay, just wondering if anyones fished the beach and jetty at siesta park? And if so wat can you get there? Also should there be salmon around at that time of year were is the best spot to target them ? Cheers.

But there are a lot of options for fishing around that area. Hopefully there should still be some salmon around at places like Eagle bay, Injinup, Smith's Beach, etc.

Should still be a few salmon around then Jono, check the places Colin mentioned. Was up there early April last year and managed to find a few schools of 30 fish within 100m from shore (lucky to be in a boat) but shore based were still getting into them when they swam closer. As for near the caravan park, you will always find a few whiting, flatties and herring if you berley up a bit. Good luck

heaps of salmon around that

heaps of salmon around that time usually ... head to bunkers bay, wyadup rocks. canal rocks, injunup point for a few fish .. but the time you get here the herring will be all eaten by the salmon so dont be upset if you dont catch many off the beach. usually the reefs are about the only place to get the herring as they can hide there.

crabs are plentifull now mate, since the pros stopped fishing in the bay for them,

easy feeds to be had , siesta park is great spot for them also, either scoop or nets,
