Hi Fishwrecked Team,
looking for any advice and options for fishing and camping up the buccaneer. We are doing a trip in May in a 6m CC and plan to camp on the coast where we can/boat if we have too. Have done a trip up that way befor but only as far as Koolan Island, weather turned us around.
Doing all the normal google and you tube research at the moment but other than some cracker 1980's malcom douglas stuff its hard to find info on.
Wolcott inlet, secure bay, doubtfull bay ect whats everyones opinions on best fishing/camping.
thanks fot any tips, a bit of intel can make or break trips like these.

Not too much offer Rob but I did chat to the staff at cygnet bay when I was there a few months ago and they said they were happy to have people use their ramp by negotiation. Cut a fair bit off the trip from launching at derby. A good option now the road is all sealed.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Cheers, have spoken to the crew at cygnet bay, the receptionist wanted us to book a campsite for the duration and pay to launch/retrieve with a tractor, waiting to speak to the manager to explain they just need to stash a ute and trailer somewhere and can keep their campsite free for guests. Im hoping thats the way to go because it saves appox 40nm each way.
