depends
on what style of fishing you do.
good old platypus does a great job in 4-6lb
but if you want something softer more supple go basshard 4-6lb.

Sunline Super PE or Cast
Sunline Super PE or Cast away. Although I dont like super pe in under 8lb but i know heaps that do.
Basshard is a good braid, but a bit coarse for the price, has average breaking strain too. More of a no fuss braid like TD sensor, nothing fancy but it is very reliable.
You can pick up some varivas sea bass for that price and that holds its coating for a very long time.

G'day duffman in my opinion Finns
G'day Duffman
In my opinion the finns, but have also used the crystal fireline in the lighter breaking strains, enjoyed using both and couldnt fault either.
Cheers, Gav.
