Booties
Submitted by Jody on Wed, 2008-07-16 08:55
My reef boots have finally given up on me and ‘parted’ company.
I'd like to get a sturdy comfortable pair of rock hoppers. Can anyone recommend some quality ones to look at.
I have seen some in a couple of camping/fishing stores but they seem quite flimsy for the asking price.

Didn't know those existed Terry - much better option. Staino spikes would be better.
Must be a hard inner sole for the spike base not to push back into your feet. Will have to source a pair myself.

Hi Ya, My youngest brother
Hi Ya,
My youngest brother on the east coast has a pair of boots the same or very similar to the Mirage Rock Hoppers. I have seen him running on black rock without any fear of slipping. I was impressed by them as the same black rock was a slippery as ice under my feet.
Cheers.
