boat transfer

When you sell your boat and trailer or jetski, do you need to fill out a seperate form for the trailer? If yes what value do you put for the trailer, would it be the whole amount you sold the vessel for? Or just a small amount for the trailer, the transfer forms for the boat has no value on it??

Transfer fee
just put a value on the trailer that is around what it's worth, if you go too low sometimes you will get looked at. And yes it is two seperate forms.

Trailer is classed as a
Trailer is classed as a vehicle so the same Vehicle Transfer Form required as when selling a car. Just need to "estimate" the value of the trailer only so they can calculate the stamp duty.

Boat is not classed as a vehicle and is a Transfer of Ownership Form. No stamp duty applicable.
