Blue mannas
Can't see any reason why they shouldn't be inside the reef considering they are caught up in Exmouth and in great numbers in Shark Bay so why not in between.

Well,
There certainly isn't any mangroves or tidal inlets for the muddies, and you would think a commercial fisherman would know that there is no shallow, warm, calm watered, gulfy/estuary waters that blue mannas prefer, anywhere near warrora waters.

Range
You had better tell that to the crabs then.
Pros fish for them north of Bunbury nearly all the way to Mandurah and thats hardly an estuary plus the prawn trawlers catch them north of Red Bluff which is only 20 nm south of Warroora so cannot see why they wouldn't be there like they are in Jane Bay on the south end of Ningaloo station.
Its just that no one deliberately fishes for them because they have bigger and better things to chase.

crabs
Not much chance of crabs mate, also wrong time of year too, need the colder waters. No reason why there shouldn't be lots of whiting, keep an eye on the shallows (hint, often the tidal line is the best spot and its not about how far you can cast out...)
