Stradivarius?
You'd have trouble landing ANYTHING with a violin! JK, know you meant Stradic....yeah, +2 for the sambo theory. There was a bloke on here a while back that was getting 20ish kilo ones on stickbaits at one of the NOR marinas, and I know firsthand about the pack that makes regular visits to the Jurien marina.

I used to fish in there
I used to fish in there heaps. There are bulk MASSIVE skippy in there at this time of year and they love unweighted baits, ive caught 60cm tailor in there legal pinkies and seen 4kg+ ones swimming around, sambos lots of rats and big ones too. My guess if it was on an unweighted white bait it'd be a big skippy we've caught 50+ ones in there. Next time ya there get a berley trail going of small mulie cubes and watch what comes out, that place amazes me everytime. Always fish unweighted there, for some reason its the only thing that works for me.

Probably just like the Freo fishing boat harbour when I was a kid. We used to pull big mulloway, skippy, sambo's etc on both lines and spears. And to top it off there were always crays along the outer wall for the taking.

Youtube
There is a youtube video of someone fighting a large sambo in there with another one following the hooked fish.
