Wondering about Rouge

Thanks.I noticed Rougue line, the price looks good but I tried cheap lines before and after a few outings I ended up with Bird nests because to line was retaining to shape of the spool and tangling when winding in (to much memory)

Ande Classic is softer and more stretchy than Ande Premium

Berkley Big Game is good

Penn X has been fine

Depends on what characteristics you want really.  Harder lines tend to be less stretchy and have more memory.

Platypus

Have Platypus low stretch on a heap of my gear. 3kg to 37kg. Does a great job for what I want.

The normal pretest is way too stretchy and found it almost impossible to use except in the ultralight 1 and 2kg sizes.

Have also had great success with Maxima and Ande.

Found the Tiagra and Berkley Big Game thick for the breaking strain.

Really depends on what you are fishing for and what you want out of a line.

Platypus all the way, plenty of types to chose from depending on what characteristics you are after and best of all "Australian Made" oh and it is good line.
