Best little stick baits

Hey all.

Just wondering what everyones favourite little stick baits for herring, tailor and littler salmon. I've seen afew around 20 dollars and thought about buying them but is there any cheaper then that but work just as well??

I'll be using it on my 2-4kg rod with 10lb braid.

Cheers

Danno

My fav would have to be the (gold) lipless sugar minnow.

is a sinking stickbait and cast hell far.

I have caught everything from bream and tailor in the swan to bluebone and spanglies up at exmouth.

cheers,

tom

For those fish: 1/2oz

For those fish: 1/2oz richter plug! They look like crap, but they bomb a mile and they catch all those fish pretty well. Of course, you need to keep them moving.

Of course, there are some smaller, fancier ones about, but still pickup some richter plugs as well.

Also, are you looking for sinking stickbaits or floating?

i'll be using them mostly in shallow still water in busso, lancelin, hillaries and also esprance over the summer. what sizes are best?

The clear or bait fish pattern is the best but they all work. Also because of the "walk the dog" style retrieve it is in the stricke zone longer. It is a light lure so the distance is sacrificed a little but they are dynamite on everything that will hit something on the surface.
