Bait Collecting

If you wanted to collect some fish baits where would you go? SOR that is.  Woodies?  South Mole? Freo Wharf?  Any of the jetties in the Sound?

And do you just use pollard for burley and then feather jigs?

Woodies probably. I was catching yellowtail one after the other under the garden island bridge last week if you have access to a boat..

Its funny coz I haven't caught herring from shore in agers but I took the ski out and while I was was waiting for my mate to launch I went out a couple hundred meters and had a flick and herring were everywhere. Strange

You know this is a multi-cultural country when you head down to the Ammo jetty

Seems strange to hear so many foreign languages and hardly any English being spoken in my own backyard

Gotta love the guys with their throw net out.  Bagging bulkloads of scaleys. Certainly looked like a commercial operation.
