I've been flicking around a bit in the last few weeks (I'm a bait man).
Not even getting touched around Mt Henry Bridge at the moment. Too early. Got a few nice bream between Sth Perth Yacht Club and Canning Bridge, they are there in between the blowies. Have to keep mobile ;-)
Biggest has gone around 35cm and they are nice and fat at the moment.
You lot are doing it tough, theres plenty of good bream in the river at the moment, at least in the swan. Forget that clean water, down river crap head upstream of burswood. If anyone tries to tell you that the rain has pushed the bream downstream just ignore them. Me & a mate have been pulling solid bream out for the last month or more a lot further up than maylands. It's not slow fishing either with bites every 5-10 minutes.
I just go when I've got the time off & the urge to get away from the tribe mate so I'm not real sure when I'm heading out next. I've just been using bait lately, I'm over placcies & just find them boring now.
moore river pumping, caught about 17 on Friday 20-27cm. Good day. Mrs lost a nice one on SP. Had a few knocks on SP, so decided to use bait. BAAAAAM BAAM!!
I had a quick flick just now in east freo, the water is really filthy and brown (i dont recall ever seeing it this bad). Got absolutely zilch, didn't even have blowies following/attacking lures
Plenty Bream showing up river, had several Fri evening on bait including a couple of decent ones. Lures not seem to be catching at moment, possibly water colour.
