I am going to use 3 slat pots
and 3 placcy pots.. Will have to wait and see which ones catch the best..
On previous years the placcy's have held their own..

Try that last spot I said in the PM with the limestone caves and rubble. Just drop them on the outside of the bank

Yeah will do... Need to fine tune my sounder skills! Have to spend a few days nutting it out when the water is clear. Everything seems to look the same haha

Dropped the UW camera down on
Dropped the UW camera down on a lump in 36 metres last weekend, there would have been a dozen crays under a small ledge and good size.

went out yesterday down
went out yesterday down south , put the pots in ,will check em on the weekend
top day down there forecast was spot on for a fish
my son was on fire yesterday , hooked a double header of dhuie & queenie in about 20 metres had us all guessing as to what he had, made him work for the both of them
ended up with 2 dhuies, one 58cm & 75cm , we also released two small ones back with no probs
one nice queenie at 70cm
two harlequin one of which was 54cm
good day out in a 4m tinnie I reckon
anyfishwilldo , mate is highly reccomend if you have not done so already to cut/burn your gear id numbers into your top frames on slat pots,
helps to stop pot theft like nothing else does ime
id also check your weight of the pots, heavy is better, many time too light a pot will walk when the swell picks up as it did late yesterday /today
good luck
