I was cleaning up and found a 1998 Fisheries "Fishing for the Future" brochure. 16 category 1's allowed back then, not counting Red Snapper which was under Table Fish

Ten dhufish!
Carnarvonite, was that per fisher or per boat?
For me, it would be per 3 years!
Save the Whales! May as well - they won't fit in my catch bag!!!

Limit
It was per person and no boat limit, forget exactly what the pink snapper limit was but suspect the same as dhufish.
No limit for salmon, can remember a mob of blokes from Donnybrook down in South Conto beach with the back of an early Hilux full to the extent of some falling off as they climbed the hill on the way out. Must have been approx. 3/4 tonne comparing it to later years when catching them professionally on what we could carry.

I have an old western angler where fisheries have an ad saying bag limit for tailor is 30.
I remember them days at floreat drain filling up the big white buckets. Back in around 1993
