Does anyone know what year alvey winches changed colour from yellow to black?

The Alvey group seem happy to take emails about various topics and questions. Normally quick to reply. I have always found them to be very helpful.
The Alvey Anglers forum did have a very comprehensive article but all posts were lost in a technical clit h last year.
