Albany fishing trip (Edit - dropped the Margaret River idea)

For my r n r this week I'm heading to Albany for 2 or 3 nights. I'm going to be landbased and I have a swag and 4 x 4. I would prefer to keep to beach fishing where I can set up the swag. I've never been to Albany before so any advice on baits, locations and target species would be appreciated.

Margs
Herring are plentiful, tailor early morning/before sunset to 50cm, and i did score a stonker silver bream at around 48cm and 2-2.5kg a week and a half ago.
Herring will take most metals, as do the tailor, a bit quiet on the mulla's from what i hear atm.
Good luck :)
