Im thinking of planning a trip to albany for a fish. What bites this time of year? Are salmon there in any good numbers this late in the season, or are they there all year round?
Also, i was wondering about what good spots are there 2wd?
Cheers!

this time
this time of the year there aren't the large schools of salmon patrolling the beaches, but definetly possible to get a few resident salmon.
Try Sand Patch, Cheynes Beach or sumthing like that and fish the gutters. Always found them around.
Herring are like a plague around the beaches. Some decent bream in the rivers, once you're thru the little tackers (impossible).
But that's about all i know. good luck.
