Are you joking???

Wed, 2007-12-12 20:19

It was a nasty, big, VERY big, bad, VERY bad and horrible toothy monster.
And he wasn't happy.

So glad I was there to see him.
Certainly took his time checking out all the upgrades to Bouttime's boat. Especially the motor repairs!!!

I got mates nagging me to get out and target that Mako. I told them there is no way is coming in the boat. It would only be give it a kiss and cut it loose.

The bronzies on the other hand.

Need a bait thats to big for the sambos though. A whole stripey tuna would be spot on I reckon.

Definatly a Mako

Thu, 2007-12-13 22:13

That would go off when hooked.

Caught one about 8ft long and it went ape shit. was reely buzzing as me and a mate where in a 13ft tinny. It jumped all over the joint doing flips all over the place. We where both hoping that it wouldn't land in the tinny (we where both ready to bail if it did).

With 24kg stand up and ten foot of 200kg wire and about an hour or so pulled him up along side. The tinny was not anchored so the tinny travelled about a 1 1/2 k's. He was stuffed but swam off after. Me mate cut the trace and he wasn't keen on getting to close to the teeth. they hang right out off the mouth (scary).

Wishin I was fishin and only 500k's to the water..
