Its a bit of both - big cray and skinny bloke :)

Was taken at Yardie caravan park and caught freediving on the west side, was just under 4.5kg. They put up a good fight when they get that big.

Caught this one on a bombie near Exmouth Town beach in the early 70's. Went 11lb 13oz. My old man was the Doc in the town at the time so I used his instruments to extract the meat, stuffed the shell with formaldahyde soaked cotton wool, mounted it on a board and sold it to the Truscott club where it hung on the wall for about a decade.

Great deal - got to eat the meat and sell the shell!

Nice to know there are still a few around that size. I'll be keeping my eyes open in July!
