Thanks guys, yeh was pretty stoked when he popped the surface and wasn't a sambo :) No point keeping him at that size knowing I'd surely get a dhu a little later to keep for fillets. Just fed 8 people fresh dhuie tonight, many happy bellys.

Nice work getting a big snap
Nice work getting a big snap on the jig. I quite like them as a jig species, as they put up a better and more interesting fight than a dhuie IMO. Also release better and taste better
