Bad boy marlin
This marlin that towed us for 6.5 km for 3 hours 45 mins on a braid combo that snapped in the last half hour of the fight in my 4m tinny and was almost the length of the boat. Estimated about 110-115kg.

Bare Foot Cobia!
Off the rocks at the "Caves" - Quobba just a few moons ago on my first ever 'real' fishing trip.
10kg braid on the old 850SS. Just over an hour to land.
Scanned pic - didn't have digital back then!

Cobia
Caught off the rocks at a place called charlotte head on the mid north coast of NSW. After chasing lontail tuna all season this was a bit suprise to us all. It was 35kg on 10kg just over an hour to land, the most memorable bit would have been carrying the sucker out as it was about a 2-3 klm walk out along rocks and beach, however when we hit the beach the pro's were getting ready to net mullet. So I asked one of them if he would give us a lift for a six pack, job on. It happen that his parents owned the local fresh fish shop so we put him on the scales there.

stingy
Got to be my stingray, not very pretty but still a great fish for me brand new gear first time out! Caught off the rocks in Auckland, took about 45 mins to land and involved getting very wet!

Has to be my 30kg+ GT from
Has to be my 30kg+ GT from Dampier last winter. The whole experience from the strike through the fight and finally landing the fish was unreal (considering the ground we were fishing). The fish busted through one leg of my 130lb twisted leader as it took me through reef. The amount of hurt I went through fishing over 15kg of drag to land the fish will be in my mind for some time.
Unfortunately I can't post a pic :( You will see it soon enough though.

25kg+ dhu
Definately my big dhu that I got with my last drop for the day in 2004. Caught on 15kg braid with 25kg leader and a single 4/0 hook with a bit of sea sweep skin as the bait.
