Yardie Creek..

Just an update on Yardie creek crossing for anyone headed up this way. It is now the worst it has been in years for launching any boat bigger than a dinghy other than the top of a big tide. Vehicles are now crossing on low tides but it is hit and miss as to how boggy it is. Ive seen a few go accross and It was dodgy at best. It will probably seal over in the next few months if we get no rain. Launching on the northern side beach isnt possible as the tiny channel runs right up against the northern dune and its like quicksand. It has been a mission surfing lately even with a 10ft tinny.

I'm selfish, hoping it will seal over soon,
No good for those wishing to launch there, but I am tired of having to go around the long way to get into Exmouth from Winderabandi. As far as I can remember, we've been doing that since 2013, last year we could cross safely at low tide was 2012, IIRC. Thanks for posting that, I was about to post myself asking how it was going.
