Winter Shark Fishing

Hi,
I read an article today of two guys putting in alot of time and effort to catch a shark this time of year and they did it, just wondering has anyone else tried it?
Its got me in the mood to target them again as I thought there wouldn't be any around this time of year!
Also seen before someone use a shaker under a ballon to attract them?

Our local beach all ways has good big sharks ,my boys love catching them with there mates
i dont think this will help u as we live in Exmouth

Wasn't intended but had a legit 8 footer
On off GI on Friday - clearly a bronzy but a really good one, rolled in the trace at the 25 minute mark and broke off, was going to release it after a photo in any event - plenty plenty out there indeed they are fast becoming a bloody pest

Come up here and take a trip to the islands, there are that many you will finish up with arms a metre longer after an afternoon of catching the bastards,
Heard that they are getting them at night from the jetty and off the beaches as well

Must have been you poser I read about?! What bait where you using? Mullet? Seen some big blue macs in the fish market but the where 17$ a kilo! Gna ballon out a mullet tomorrow, mayb do an all nighter, would love to head to carnarvon haha bucket full if chum sit back and wait!
