anticipated
Well I don't feel so bad now.
As my plans didn't work out as I had anticipated this weekend, I am still without a boat so decided to have a little look at the local tackle shop and walked out $387 poorer.
Maybe next weekend I will get to use the gear
My fishing spots are so secret........... even the fish don't know where they are !!

Don't know yet, the oldest bought them as an online package. They look and feel the goods though. Just reading through the assist tying thread and having some fun with a beer, footy on soon, life is good

Good to see that happens to others Andy, went into a kitchen store with the wife to get my son a new knife block, my wife decided we needed one too, plus one of those, and one of them, $750 later we walked out. Lesson learnt.

Yup, I'm guilty of that too! My problem is I don't have a decent tackle store near me so when I get to a good one, I spend up big time

It's good therapy Andy
especially after a long week at work. Years ago, almost every Saturday morning I used to visit most of the tackle shops which were local to me. By the time I returned home I was a peace with the world once again and ready for another week.

I got stuck in at Whitworths and came out about $900 poorer, and I don't even have a boat yet. Picked up a nice little Raymarine Dragonfly 6 sounder /gps unit with all of Australia map for $600 plus a few goodies for safety.
