Waypoints

Hi folks, just like to know if you enter your waypoints directly into the plotter or via the laptop/PC.
If you do it via laptop/PC, is there a program you use with the SD card in or plot them on a chart & download them to the card.
Any advice to a newby is greatly appreciated.

Thanks BL, actually chasing if there is a way of entering them onto a laptop program & then dropping them onto the plotter card to enter them into the plotter for a planned trip.
Sorry about the way it came across.

navonics
navonics on pc you can transfer your waypoints off a sd card into pc and also mark spots/planned routes from pc onto sd card into your chart
just make sure the formats the same as your using otherwise it can have the coords way out which i found out the hard way the first time then deleteing them then re-entering them in the correct wgs or other format you use

My method is:Open a beer,
My method is:
Open a beer, and have a drink with the missus, showing some interest in her day;
Excuse myself and grab another beer;
Find the gps unit by which time i generally need another beer;
Walk out to the boat on the front driveway, grabbing a beer on the way past the beer fridge in the garage;
Fit the gps unit onto the boat and power it up, by which time i need to pee, so better head to the loo and I'll grab a beer on the way back;
Sit on the boat and enter my waypoints while listening to some cool tunes from jj cale, and have a couple of beers in the peace and quiet;
Decide i am too drunk and i better check the accuracy of those waypoints again tomorrow night....
Works for me
Fish! HARD!
