Uploading photos into a post

I am having trouble uploading photos into a post - follow the procedure as per Adam's instructions the other day but with a 600 meg or even a 350 meg image it tells me the image is too large - where am i stuffing up?

I think it has to be less
I think it has to be less than 500 pixels wide or high too. I got caught out before by this.

Ian did you check the Fishwrecked Tips column
on the right side of this page. There is an Adding Photos to Fishwrecked link that Dreamweaver put together that may help.

I Checked the Tips... Stilll not Happy
I still have some problems understanding how this happens here. Maybe I am thick but I do know lots about computers and images. Colin's articles didn't help me.
I can post images greater than the standard demanded here so long as it's not in a forum post. Creating a normal post and inserting an image makes you upload and is subject to the size parameters.
Can we perhaps revist this and offer some updated tips?

Yep, thats how I get multiple pics on a post
Your photobucket page should look something like this:
All you need to do is click your cursor on the IMG Code box (the one in the red box) so that the box is highlighted, copy it (right click mouse -> copy or press control c), then paste it in your reply (right click mouse -> paste, or press control v).
No need to email it or any of that jazz.
P.S. Huggy B - I'm not a Hubby B.

More Info Required
A few weeks ago I wanted to do an article about Uncle Stu's hosed trip Salmon fishing. I got sooo frustrated I gave up....
I know there are ways around this but surely, this site can allow us to post articles
