Tynos 30 issue

I have a tynos 30 that i have just bought for ballooning and the line is bunching up in the middle instead of laying the line evenly. Anyone experienced this before? Am i just missing something simple.

Lever drag reel
This type does not have a line guide so you have to lay the line.
Ususlly done with the thumb
Reverse cycle a/c supply and install - Ducted and wall splits

I have the same reel and it's easy enough to guide the line with your thumb as you wind in. Just keep an eye on it and keep it reasonably even...doesn't have to be perfect !
My fishing spots are so secret........... even the fish don't know where they are !!
