well, with this being my last day of holidays before going back to work 2moro we went down the river for a cruz and bit of a crab,
the amount of boats on the water crabbing at 8.00am was unbeliveable, anyway drop some pots when we found somewhere and ended up getting 10 good size blueys.
packed it in and headed back to the ramp by 1.00pm and the boat ramp at maylands was packed to the hilt, every man and his dog must of been on the water today.
anyway, good day for a quick run and some crabs for some freinds, troy tried some chilli crabs and i threw in a bit of dhuy fillet and that was very tasty indeed.
cheers ron

Nice bag Ron. I gotta get a boat so I can get into the crabs early. I've been stuck landbased & so far it's hard work just to get 3 or 4 size.

Good catch
Nice catch Fissho Ron, where did you get them, if you don't mind me asking, we went down to Blackwall reach yesterday with 10 pots, dropped them from 630 to 1230 and came home with only 6 crabs, we had 2 licence holders on board so we were legal to take 20 but hardly got a sniff.

Thanks for the pm Fisho.
Yeah Righteo we were obviously very close to where you are saying, we were told to go Blackwall reach, we had no luck there, then we moved over to freshwater bay and got what we got there.
What about bait we were using tuna heads ?
Will send you a pm of my address, I cant supply the gourmet crabs, but can manage the cold caronas to go with it.
cheers guys.

mentioned the magic word...... coronas buy crabs ;)
i fly out sunday i think... hoping to get a jig/bottom bash/fad troll ect ect... and crabbing session in before then.
i was thinking of tryin blackys but since your saying its unproductive wont bother, mozzys has produced 20 the last 3 times we have tried in a month.
btw certain places crab well when river traffic is down.... its best to stay out the way of the weekend traffic these days :P
Here we go again.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
