Submitted by mako magic on Wed, 2008-08-20 20:44
Well with buying a 3.7m stacer tinny i will be looking at decking it out soon, already got a few idea's for it, but looking for other idea's from other members on what they have done, pics would be a bonus, looking at casting decks front and back, livewell etc

i got the boat already mate,
i got the boat already mate, just got to take it for a spin and sort the deal out, apart from that looking at idea's and advice now, want to bling it out big time, lots of stickers as well as a name maybe, will have to suck up to suppliers to get some stickers now too also you would be looking at between 1500 and 2500 to purchase and then deck out and that could add up depending on what you want to do,and how much you can do yourself

-Ally weld more ally rod
-Ally weld more ally rod holders onto the side, thats the best thing i have done! get's rods/gaffs/nets etc out of the way!
- Carpet your seats for obvious reasons
- Casting decks a good idea, one which i gotta get around to do! sealed marine ply and carpeted on some ally brackets should be pretty sturdy..ive got the idea in mind but its too hard to explain on here, have to show u some time matt!
- Get a ally box welded to the back corner of the boat next to the seat for souder/gps/radio etc. once again hard to explain but i know exactly were it went on me bro's old tinny!
- put glove box's into the seat for storage of phone/wallet as you can imagine things do get wet in tinnys
there's a couple of ideas Matt!
if i think of any more then i'll let you know
cheers

Here's a pic of the the one I fitted out before the boat pictured above, both boats had removable sections in the floor, as well as removable front and rear casting decks for storage.
