Can someone please advise me of the tide time variations for say Monkey Mia and Gladstone.
Am heading to Gladstone later in the week and help would be appreciated.

willy weather has a tide
willy weather has a tide forecast - type in postcode
or
http://www.bom.gov.au/oceanography/projects/ntc/tide_tables.shtml
there are main and secondary forecast areas - for secondary need to add or subtract time and height to get real height
the height is normally fairly close except up north, kimberleys to weipa

Been fishing Gladstone for a long time . That place has more tides in one day that you can poke a stick at . Best bet is to take up your own mooring and launch and retrieve your boat only once ( scissor paper , rock it for boat collection duties or take a tender ) Very seldom can you launch and retrieve from the launching area when the water is just right . It's the windy season up here the moment, enjoy !

Halve time
Get a tide prediction for Monkey Mia and Hamelin Pool and halve the time differences between their highs and do the same with the lows, should come out somewhere close, if I remember correctly
