Looks like we’re finally going to get some rain up here in the Carnarvon dust bowl . Time to start cleaning up and getting ready for a potential ass whipping .

starting to look like it will keep the south easterly bell curve going as it heads south.
wed night will give agood indication of how intense and where it will end up , hopefuly it disipates into a rain bearing low as comes south

US Navy site predicts rapid weakening as it heads south
And they use a cray super computer......the JTWC site is used by most insurance companies to monitor the predicted track!

Yeah it definitely will
Yeah it definitely will weaken over cooler water, but as they breakdown they also speed up inevitably.
Most likely never see anything but a little rain.
The possible one behind it may affect Easter though...

I was supposed to be
I was supposed to be mobilising out of Dampier to start a job for Woodside on a barge wed ( which has now gone to friday which will probably turn into Monday), of course this beast has delayed that... Positive note the weather this week looks like a 9/10 and to finish the week off old Marcus might just throw up a serious NW swell with favourable winds...
I'm having selfish thoughts of making the most of this week before boarding the vessel perhaps on the weekend sometime only to have to run out to $ea and wait it out when the next one comes around the corner bearing down on cyclone ally...
Why oh why would they go ahead and try and kick off a project off the Pilbara coast in March/April?
Anyway thoughts go out to the people in Darwin/Vicco and Tathra...
I hope my selfish wish of pumping cyclonic waves dont come at the expense of anyone loosing a life/house etc etc...
Interesting weather around the traps in this country!!
