Swan Over Nighter

Hey guys, it's my mate's birthday soon and we were thinking of doing an over nighter on the Swan in our 4.6m half-cabin. Can anyone suggest any general areas where we could anchor up relatively safely and fish for the night (and nearest boat ramp if possible).

Any info and advice would be appreciated as this will be our first overnighter on the Swan.

Cheers

Hutch

Ramp at the end of Johnson st

Ramp at the end of Johnson st at Keanes pt reserve, Iv seen 20 footer glass boats launch there, back wheels of vehicle will be in sand tho. Troll up some tailor on sunset (mulla bait, live or dead) then drop the anchor in mozzy bay for mullas and crabs at night I reckon (never done it before, but sounds like a plan). Protected from the arvo SWester but will cop the easterly if it blows up, if so, could just anchor over at Blackwall reach for the same action but protected from the Easterly

Great suggestions by tim-o.  Could also consider down river squid or prawning options.  Also consider further up river from maylands.  More protection from the wind and some moorings available but may need to book with DoT???  I am no bream expert so dont know if the night time fishing up river is an option??

I would suggest Blackwall

I would suggest Blackwall reach of Freshwater Bay. Nice deep water around. Will be getting pretty chilly now at night though.
