Well done Buz, nice wild Raindbow Trout and some good pics also. I love the Warren, the air is fresh & the scenary awesome. Those reddy's are maron killers alright but taste nice......i'll be taking my canoe down in the next few months to get me somer of that!
Hi Ryan, man a canoe down there would be awesome get to all those places which are near impossible to bash through the bush to get to. Mind you be ready to do some hauling over logs, snags, rocks and rapids with it, as there were heaps of deep pools when i was down there but there was even more shallower stretchs upstream from the Warren Bridge. Yep agree with the Redfin being marron assassins, but hey when you arn't catching any trout they are great fun, and i personnally prefer eating them to trout also. Was getting them all on either celta spinners and ecogear sx40's with red in their colour somewhere. So make sure you got some of them in your arsenal!
Haha cheers rainbow, but i have never been good at writing to a deadline as my high school english teacher i am sure would vouch! Then there is the other problem of finding someone to publish my rantings :)
im goin camping near mundairing just wondering if you are aloud to fish and if there actually are fish in the part of the river where chinaman george road and allen road meet?
Going down to Kalgan river near albany for a week or so after new years and might drop in at the big brook arboretum near pemby on the lefroy brook for a couple of nights on the way i cant wait!!!! i'll have to devote a day to getting that PB redfin or trout!
