Stingrays

If anyone is heading up around yanchep soon, just watch out for the rays. i counted 8 different rays this morning just north of the lagoon, all within 10 metres of the beach. i jagged a small one with a 30g Twisty on my flicky and it took off. the lure ripped out of the wing when i put some pressure on it. talking to the lady at the kiosk, the numbers have been increasing every day.

got 4 tailor and 6 herring,
got 4 tailor and 6 herring, all over 30cm. all using 30g chrome and gold twisty's.

got plenty of hookups to herring and landed a couple, hooked the stingy and had a follow by something - wich i only saw a rather large silver flash smash my lure, missing the hooks. we stayed around for maybe 2 hours longer, then left
