squiding spots

i am land based and i would like some opinions on were to go for the squid comp on sunday

probably woulda been easier to ask a little more suttle ealier, week of the comp isnt the best time hehe. Just find good combination of weed beds and sand.take some time to travel the coast within the boundaries. Best thing you could, you might stumble into a good spot that may not be so commanly used and is good.

Anyways good luck, and to everyone else participating in the calamari classic. Fingers crossed, hope the weather is better.

Chief you could try the spit just down from woodies or fishing the woodies groyn there is a old wooden section that juts out a bit from there

hope you catch a boomer have sen guys pull decent sized squid and cuttles from there in the past
