go to the old mandurah bridge skatepark side went there last week bout 8:30 at night and got 12 in 1and a half hours smallest was 19cm tube and largest was 36cm it was veryy good dinner
yeah go either the end nearest the stairs or down at the start of the bridge cause there lots of cover and its shallow there but thats were you get the live bait sized ones if you do get a really small one chuck it on a hook there may be a mulloway around Never can lose hope haha
Was gunna create a new thread but just found this old one...
Anyone been getting any around Mandurah lately?
Also;
1. Any recommendations where to drop some crab nets?
2. Was thinking of staying out in the estuary with the new boat overnight with my young bloke, any areas to pull up and pitch a tent without getting harrased by DH'ds or rangers? (safe parking would also help)
Whilst flicking for whiting in the estuary, I saw two squid cruise past in knee deep water, might be worth a look. Also behind giris surf break in falcon there is a large weed patch where I have caught a few good size squid on.
