spool tension bolt help

heres one for all you overhead beach casters how should the spool tension knob be set when casting is loose the way to go

theory wise, attach the lure you wish to cast, hold your rod chest height flat to the ground, wind the lure up as much as you can, then put it in freespool and the lure should descend to the ground at a controlled rate.
Doesn't hit the ground - too tight.
If it hits with a thud and the spool overruns - too loose.
Once you have it set, you can cast it around and back off the tension as required.

spool tension!
Casting lures or baits, the weight changes so periodical adjustment as Huggy mentioned is a must!
Always have it so that the cast control is set for that lures/rig/baits etc but, have it so that your thumb does the final micro adjustment so to speak when casting!
